So we start with that japanese greeting which means -HELLO!Let's go. How do you do?=Hajimemashite? Good morning!= Ohayo gozaimasu= konbanwa. How are you?= O-genki desu ka? See you again.= Sayonara. Are you mr. Tanaka?= Tanaka-san desu ka? please note : in japanese you may use the word "-san" after other's names.It can be rude not to use "-san" . but "-san" is never attached by the speaker to his own name."desu ka" is a question form.Any statement can be made into a question by adding "ka" at the end. Yes=Hai. No=Lie. Yes,that is right.=Hai,so desu. Please tell me your name.= O-namae wa? from which country do you come?=O-kuni wa? SOME USEFUL WORDS : Doctor= Isha. Nurse= Kangofu. Where=Doko. Teacher= Kyoshi Student= Gakusei Bank= Ginko. Public officer=Komuin. Super market=Supa. Excuse me= Onegai-shimasu. Hospital= Byoin. Iam sorry= Sumimasen. Thank you.=Arigato gozaimasu. Where is the toilet?=Toire wa doko desu ka? Where is the telephone?=Denwa wa doko desu ka? Where is the switch?= Suitchi wa dokdo desu ka? It is there.= Soko desu.
